    What Are You Making?

    Be sure to share your ideas and what you are making on The Blue Maple Facebook page.  Now that the building is finished, I’d like to shift things to ideas and inspiration of what we/you all have to offer.  We need more inspiration in this world!  We need more celebration of talent.

    On My Cutting Table.

    This next couple weeks I have some patterns for sewn bags and stuff pods that I’ll be working on with cottons, upholstery fabrics, and leather that I’ll be putting most of my focus on.  Some are super easy patterns if you want to come and play with the same project.

    Want to Try Something New?

    I can’t guarantee we have everything you need but we sure have lots of tools and machines to choose from if you want to try something new.  Most of us are pretty solid in the things you use to make what you make.  But if you want to  experiment, let me know and we can talk about how to accomplish what you want to try.

    Introvert?

    Its been brought to my attention that some of you are interested but uncomfortable about being with new people.  No worries.  There are a couple different spaces for you to come and do your thing or just come and sit to feel like you are out of the house and not alone.  Spaces that are off to the side where you don’t have to interact if you don’t want to.  I want everyone to feel included, but completely understand if you are uncomfortable at first with  people you don’t know.

     

    What Do I Need to Know?

    Feel free to bring drinks or snacks.

    Absolutely, your service and therapy pets and those in training are welcome.  Do be advised, if you have allergies, this is a space that regularly had dogs.

    You will use the main front door by the stop sign.  Parking is along the two road sides of the building.  Please leave the space alone the fence open for the renter and her children.
